Our build-to-suit program is a great option. The construction phase has begun and the floor plan, front elevation and lot choice have been selected. In the building industry, it is referred to as a “spec” home. The base list price is set, but gives the buyer limited options such as selecting cabinet stain, countertop, appliances, carpet, tile, hardwoods, wall color and door style depending on which stage of construction the home is in. Upgrades are optional, however it is best to stay within the builder’s allowance when possible. An unconditionally non-refundable deposit is required as well as a pre-approval from your lender.
